Loved the tutorial- thank you so much! I have been envying your messy bun!
ReplyDeleteI will be SO happy when I have long enough hair to do a messy bun! I got it cut short a few years ago, and am about halfway to the length that I want (like yours).
ReplyDeleteI am not a mommy, but I love your blog!!! I like the fact that all of the clothes are accessible (price wise), and the way you show how different pieces can be layered, mixed, and matched to create totally new outfits.
Great Blog!!!
Finally! I have hair envy. Thanks for sharing. And despite that awkward feeling I'm sure you had, it didn't show through. You did great!
ReplyDeleteFor ten years I have envied your hair....thanks for the step by step directions. Your awesome!!
ReplyDeletehopefully she will teach how to do the idaho puff as well
DeleteOMG, Jamie you are too cute! Great tutorial. I wish I had more hair to make my messy bun bigger. My hair is thin and shoulder length, so I do with it what I can. Have you tried the sock bun? I may give that a try.

So glad you did this! Thanks!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tutorial! I have grown my hair out, so that I can do more with it. I try the messy bun, but I think i fuss with it too much to try and make it "perfect" which it shouldn't be! :) I am going to try your way, it's super cute! :)

Great tut, my messy bun looks much less 'ick' now! Thanks! Love your site, so easy for me to fall into a sloppy style (I'm as scout leader, kids yoga instructor, and coach youth running so much of my daily garb consists of athletic wear!) but so many of these looks are doable. But we live in Japan so no F21 (I'm 34, I feel so weird in there anyhow!), Target, etc.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see a makeup tutorial one day, especially on your recent look with the coral colored v neck tee and jeans.
Great tutorial, looks so easy, thanks!

I've got to say you've got skills sister, because I tried this and it looked nothing like yours...just a bit of a mess on my head! Keep up all the cuteness!
ReplyDeleteyou are so cute! i found your blog on pinterest and just love it :)
ReplyDeleteWhat products are u using for volume and texture? Ur roots have awesome lift and whatever styling product you're using seems to really give your hair a great piecey look-can u share?
ReplyDeleteI, too, was wondering that same thing! You said you don't have thick hair in this tutorial, but you've got so much volume and lift that it gives the appearance of thick hair, especially when you piece it out of the bun! Would love to know what you use! Thanks!!
DeleteLove your shirt in the vid. Where did you get it?

Oh thank you its from Zummies.
DeleteThank you, you are so cute! I tried this on my sister and it looked super cute! Thanks for the tutorial!
ReplyDeleteI love it Jamie, looks great!
ReplyDeleteI was just told about your blog last night and I'm already in love! I'm not a mommy yet, but hope to be soon! My hair is super fine and thin so my buns always looked so skinny, but this is great!! Actually, I made my husband get up and get dressed because I didn't want to waste a good hairstyle! Haha! So thanks!!
