I'm Jaana.  Wife to Paul.  Mama to Stevie. Photographer.  Diet Coke enthusiast.  Lover of the Dave Matthews Band.  We live in the city and love it.  But boy, do we sometimes long for the simple life.  It's been a crazy couple of years since becoming a mom.  When our son was 2 weeks old, he was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and turned our world upside down.  After 2 open heart surgeries, he is doing great and teaching us a thing or two about this crazy life.  Between doctor appointments and 9 therapy sessions a week for the little guy, its not always easy to look or feel like a hot mom.  But hey, all I can do is try!  The thing I'm loving about fashion trends this season is it seems like anything goes.  Color, print, crazy accessories.  But my go-to items are definitely boots and denim.  They just work with everything!
